Job Description

Designation: NOC- Monitoring & Development Engineer

No. Of openings: 2

Shift: 24*7 (Primarily night shift)

Notice Period : Someone who can start ASAP or within 30 day to 45 days Max

Technical skills required:

Good experience on Application monitoring tools like Nagois, Splunk, Zabbix, New Relic, Solarwinds, Grafana, etc.

Good understanding and exposure on scripting languages like Shell scripting, Bash scripting OR Python scripting.

Other Technical tools like GIT, ELK, Kubernates, Ansible, SVN, Docker.
The core responsibility of role will be on Application monitoring and development of the monitoring tools and process automation.

Home Pick up and Drop provided till Thane, Vasai and Belapur.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree

Job description/Job Summary:

This position will primarily focus on monitoring various systems, providing email communications from IT, and coordinating outage resolution, With Level 2/3 troubleshooting across from Application to Network to Systems All of these tasks require:

Ability to analyze alarm conditions as presented by multiple monitoring applications (Solarwinds, WUG)

Previous experience in a 24x7x365 IT Operations environment

Experience with analyzing application , system and network performance using monitoring and graphical data.

Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of computer networking

Experience working critical issues that affect many users

Communicate information on a regular basis about system wide outages to various departments within the

company

Attention to detail

Ability to quickly go from one task to another

Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English

Technical writing skills

Thorough documentation in tickets/Task detailing actions taken

The ability to work with minimal supervision

Job Specifications:

Skill Sets Required:

Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration

Strong experience with databases such as SQL, MS SQL, MySQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Elasticsearch,

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python, PHP, Groovy, Bash.

Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, WorkFront, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc. . .

. Experience in working with Puppet or Chef for automation and configuration.

Effectively manage and assign projects as necessary while lending support to the team.

Actively troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing and production, catching and solving issues before launch

Good understanding and knowledge of commands in windows and linux.

Basic knowledge about Active directory, Group Policies & Remote Desktop user properties

Advance knowledge in Logs structure for windows and Disk space analyses

Intermediate knowledge in Networking especially in VPN on routers(SonicWall preferred)

Analytical skill

Intermediate knowledge about Monitoring (Solarwinds preferred)

Basic Power Shell scripting and shell scripting.

Basic knowledge on SSL and load balancer

Intermediate knowledge of FTP protocol

The position will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Monitor tomcat services on services for various products

Monitor Database level services for MySQL and MSSQL

Monitor Solarwinds for WAN health

Communicate information on a regular basis about outages and issues.

Develop e-mail communication for All Users about outages and other IT Information

Provide support to providers with technical problems like Remote Desktop Connection, Remote

Printer mapping etc within the SLA parameter

Manage aged incidents to ensure they are not stagnant

Work on scheduled task for network analyses for pre client set-up

Troubleshoot on VPN related network issues.

Working Relationships:

Need to work with all departments mainly with Support/ Implementation/Interface etc.
