Technology will play a critical role in Varthanas success. Our technology strategy should drive faster, better credit decisions, more efficient operations and enhance our interaction and relationships with clients. Engineering Lead will need to understand how technology will impact Varthanas existing business processes while also driving strategic thinking to maximize growth of technology as Varthana evolves into a Fintech model. It is imperative for an Engineering Lead to understand the context of the technology in terms of business impact & business strategies, customer needs & ease of doing business and overall corporate strategy.
As a leader, you will be responsible for business analysis, design, implementation and overall delivery of modules within multiple projects at Varthana. You will also be responsible for functional/technical tracking of the project.

Preferred Profile
- 7 - 9 years of experience in analysis, design and product development of application software's.
- Passion to write code, find happiness in improving processes & constantly learn something new.
- Strong experience of web/mobile application stack management (Necessary for design features).
- Experience of project life cycles, business process workflows and delivery.
- Experience in product development using the Agile Methodology.
- Efficient leader with good communication skills and the ability to manage the ownership of multiple development tracks simultaneously
- Good to have some functional knowledge of the Finance domain (Loans).
- B.E/B.Tech/M.C.A from a reputed institution.
Specifically, the role details as under:
Technology strategy is critical to Varthanas growth in the Fintech world. Under this strategy, it is imperative to facilitate automation of multiple business processes. Automation will involve design, development & delivery of technology solutions & platforms. As an Engineering Lead, you will be directly responsible for a team of developers and their output, web/mobile solution designs, product development, quality, product rollout & ongoing product roadmap.
Many of these solutions will start from scratch, hence creativity and innovative thinking is very much expected. You will be responsible for complete tech-stack/architecture, data management & system security. This may involve integrations with third-party systems, hence vendor management will also be involved to some extent. You will be responsible for constant interactions with functional heads during product development and enhancements.
You will have complete ownership to lead, drive, deliver & manage source code for all developed products in Varthana. You will also be responsible for managing the testing & deployment strategies to achieve the highest quality of output with efficient delivery timelines.

- Front-end Technologies: Javascript, Typescript, Angular, React JS, Node.js, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, Maven
- Back-end Technologies: Node.js/Java/Python, Business Workflows
