Role Overview
As a Qualitia Automation Engineer, you will be involved to test design, execute, build & deploy test automation using Qualitia script less tool with responsibility in the quality assurance of software with emphasis on CI integration. You'll be involved in the creation of business requirements inputting the test scripts and test scenarios to ensure understanding the business requirements so that can be effectively tested with minimum set of code/scripts. Need to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained and through doing so drive regression testing across the products and design specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and Execute tests within Qualitia tool along with CI/CD pipeline deployment
- Proactively bringing issues and problems to the attention of the team.
- Design functional test cases for all the required features /stories as required
- Proposing and implementing innovative solutions to resolve automation challenges
- Analyse & Review Execution , Prepare Test summary & Reports, Troubleshooting failing test cases
- Reporting and tracking defects
- Active participation in the client calls and meetings
Skills required
- Proven experience in software test automation of Large-Scale Web Applications. Should have experience in designing and developing scripts. The automation experience should not be only of record and playback kind, should be specifically involved in developing functions, adding control flow logic, loops etc.
- Good experience and knowledge of Automation tools and respective environment, which should include Selenium WebDriver
- Good Knowledge in Understanding Selenium Commands
- Should have good understanding and experience of Manual Testing, related processes and Test Case Automation Readiness preparation.
- Idea in Test Case Prioritization & designing test data properly
- Debugging and running the Tests
- The ability to speak and write so as to be clearly understood by others, using appropriate vocabulary, grammar and style. Excellent presentation skills, suitably adapted and targeted to the audience.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies
- Experience in using other automation tools is added advantage.
- Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation
- Understanding the DevOps Life Cycle
