Job Description
The Digital Graphic Designer will work with the eCommerce team and other designers on the overall visual appearance of the brand.
Manage and create sample eCommerce projects including: Website Look & Feel, Email Campaigns, Affiliate Banners, Online Look-books, Editorial Features, Category Banners.
Create graphics and infographics necessary for Amazon and other channels.
Design social media assets for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and other channels.
Produce creative and impactful online materials with quick and accurate turn-around.
Perform production tasks for all backgrounds, banners, navigational elements, graphic images, icons, titles, etc.
Assures that each graphic element meets the job-appropriate specifications, including Resolution, Color palette (web-safe colors), Optimizing for the Web.
Meets with eComm team to gain an understanding of the audience and the message to be conveyed.
Develops and discusses ideas for the look, tone, and feel of the piece to be designed.
Maintains a 'big picture' mentality and will play a huge role in developing the visual language that defines the brand.
REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 3-5 years related work experience
Strong marketing, branding and design sensibility
Proficient in all design-related programs
Intimate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva
A solid understanding of wireframes and digital versioning
Previous art direction experience a plus with a strong portfolio
Master at the principles of design and the ability to apply them to complex tasks are crucial
Experience working in a digital business a must
Creative problem solving, communication skills, and decision-making skills
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
A strong aesthetic sense and excellent attention to detail
Strong cross functional experience & strong communication skills
Ability to carry out a concept from start to completion and work independently
Multi-tasking: work on more than one design brief at a time
Must submit a portfolio of the previous work
Ideal candidate has great attention to detail and is comfortable in a high volume fast paced environment
Proficient in all design-related programs
