Job Description

Purpose of the Role:
This is an exciting role in the IoT space which is expected to be a multi billion dollar industry in India. With few credible players in the Industrial space of IoT, Neptunus is well positioned to be a leading solution provider and system integrator. We are tied up with leading international companies that provide cutting edge technology in the IoT space. The selected candidate will have very high growth potential in a fast growing company and will lead a team of engineers in the next three years.
Outcomes and Responsibilities :
The Company will undertake IoT projects related to Industry involving remote sensing of following parameters _ pressure, temperature, speed, angular motion, vibrations, on line oil monitoring etc using PLC/SCADA/ DAU and the cloud for remote monitoring. The candidate shall be overseeing at least 5 to 7 projects at any given time. Based on (Industrial IoT) project requirements the candidate shall be accountable for the following deliverables: Phase I : Techno commercial proposal. This will comprise of preparing a detailed BoQ, detailed engineering drawings and choosing the right technology partner
Phase II will consist of overseeing procurement and site execution
Phase III will consist of commissioning
Phase IV will be continuos customer support
Deliver 30% gross margin on every project
Challenges of the Role
Keeping abreast of the latest trends in IoT. It is rapidly evolving and the candidate will have the responsibility of keeping the company abreast of latest technology developments
Each project is a custom built project and will require detailed engineering
Customer does not necessarily understand what his exact requirements are, it is up to us to come up with a cost effective solution.
The general belief is that IoT will be a cheap way to cure maintenance problems. This is not necessarily so.
