What you bring to the table:
- 3+ Years of Experience in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP (WordPress)
- Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications on WordPress / PHP.
- Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
- Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc
- Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working responsive HTML pages for tablet, mobile, and desktop
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
- Proficient knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN, or Mercurial
- A clear understanding of PHP back-end development
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to independently manage projects and report / present efforts to clients
- An additional CMS exposure (Shopify, Magento, Drupal) would be an added advantage
