Job Description


Position Mission:
The Supplier Coordinator is a key member of a team which functions to seamlessly on/off board suppliers that are participating in Workspend/US Tech Solutions managed service solutions. On-boards and develops and maintains relationship partner suppliers. The overall goal is to drive supplier and user satisfaction in a high quality, timely manner.
  • Works with internal department contacts and supplier contacts to ensure suppliers are on/off boarded completely and in a timely manner, and that all compliance is met
  • Administers on/off boarding lifecycle for all suppliers
  • Works with accounting team and MSP supplier contacts to ensure accurate supplier setup to facilitate payment process
  • Acts as supplier point of contact to answer questions, resolve issues and ensure timely and accurate payment
  • Maintains knowledge of all process steps, and ensures completion within required timeframes
  • Documents all supplier issues, and tracks resolutions through to completion, ensuring a high level of quality and satisfaction
  • Conducts research and analyzes information/situation to resolve supplier inquiries as needed
  • Monitors progression of tasks against contract SLAs (onboarding of new suppliers. Off-boarding of suppliers, invoicing and payments, and supplier compliance)
  • Engages in consistent and accurate communications with suppliers
  • Manages data in VMS and associated systems
  • Works with appropriate team members to complete assigned projects and tasks on time

Qualifications & Required Skills
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years staffing industry MSP or procurement experience
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service/facing role
  • Experience with SAP Fieldglass or comparable VMS technology (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of supplier contracts and contractual terminology
  • Experience and understanding of labor based Statements of Work
  • Bachelors Degree in comparable field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Previous experience in vendor management is helpful (though not required)

Required Skills:
  • Effectively communicate both verbally (in person/video calls or via telephone) and in writing with internal staff, external customers, and field employees
  • MS Office at intermediate level with advanced skills in Excel preferred
  • Self-driven to meet or exceed minimum expectations and performance objectives
  • Ability to multi-task to meet frequent deadlines
  • Assimilate well into a team environment
  • Strong process-orientation with ability to utilize critical-thinking when needed to think beyond existing processes
