UI / CSS Engineer - Hyderabad / Secunderabad @ Cloud Elements

Job Description

Primarily, we are looking for passionate CSS Developer (Junior to Mid-Level). The ideal candidate will not only be a solid CSS developer but be detailed oriented, possess the ability to turn projects around quickly all the while being adaptable to changes as new ideas come in from the design team. You will be using an in-house front-end application framework based on React JS and the latest web technologies with a multi-functional team. We want humble engineers who want to find the best solution to a problem, and dont care whether theyre right or wrong. You ll need to work well on a team, and be able to pick things up quickly while still knowing when to ask for help.

What you will be doing:

• Write Javascript, HTML, and CSS for our React-based UI applications.

• Participate in the UX/UI lifecycle, providing technical guidance and validation.

• Maintain and contribute to UI design language.

• Rapidly prototype UI concepts that are ready to be integrated into existing products with minimal effort

• Work closely with various teams to design and implement new features, enhancements to existing features and maintenance of the existing product components

• Enhance the server APIs to service the UI tier of our platform

What we would like you to have:

• 2+ years of experience with frontend development.

• Passion for software development, engineering and problem solving

• An interest in developing new approaches to complex UI/UX design problems.

• Expert level knowledge of CSS

• Experience with Javascript, and libraries like React and AngularJS.

• Have an eye for making usable and beautiful UIs

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Care about a performant, scalable UI

• Care about user experience

• Experience with middleware and server-side technologies such as Java, SQL and NoSQL databases is a nice to have.

• Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams in an agile environment
