Position - "Team Leader (Structural design and Analysis) " for an European MNC.
The Company has set up State of the Art Design Centre, on Pune-Solapur Highway.
The Centre has started functioning from 1st April 2019.
The Company work week is for 5 days a week.
The company has its transport facility from 3 different routes in Pune.
Job Description-:
Responsibility:-
Responsible for structural analysis of assemblies and complete structure of tower cranes
- Responsible for evaluation of calculation results according to various standards and guidelines
- Review & Check all inputs received before start of the design activity
- Responsible for timely delivery of Engineering outputs in accordance with established schedules.
Role-:
- Co-ordination with Cross Functional Team as per Project requirement
- Work according to Design Codes and Software Tools
- Responsible for checking and approving designs and manufacturing drawings of structures, in line with the design requirement
- Participate in preparation of process & quality documents for product
- Participate in Functional testing of prototype cranes
- Value engineering
- Calculation of special crane applications
- Documentation of calculation result as well as the compilation of verifiable reports
- To guide and mentor the team.
Education-:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering & Masters degree in structural engineering from reputed institute
Experience-:
- 10 to 12 years of experience in Design of structural assemblies and components.
Experience in heavy material handling industry will be preferred
- Excellent knowledge of statics and stability under different load combinations
- Strong knowledge of welding & materials (International & Indian equivalent)
- Experience in application of calculation Softwares preferably RSTAB, RFEM, Staad.pro.
- Experience of using AutoCAD and 3d CAD Softwares
- Experience of working with FEA software's (Ansys.) will be an advantage
- Experience of working with any of PLM/ERP system like Wind-chill, will be an advantage
Soft Skills:-
- Independent, structured and results-oriented attitude
- Very good English skills (written/ spoken)
