Job Description

Income Tax & GST
Compute corporate income tax (annual and advance tax), SEZ tax exemptions and books profits.
Follow up with the consultants for certifications based on Form 3CD. Manage filing of annual income tax returns.
Assess tax notices for documenting information to be presented before the tax authorities and tax assessment notices for documenting for further appeal papers based on requirements.
Process forms for forex payments and follow up with the consultants for filing, managing TDS compliances and issuing Form 16A.
Focus on registration and amendment of company details, and processing the letter of undertaking. Design invoice formats as per GST requirements.
Involved in filing monthly returns GSTR -1, GSTR 3B, and GSTR -9 including reconciliation of input tax credits as in GSTR 2A & 2B with books.
Interact with the consultants for obtaining annual return certifications GSTR -9C.
SEZ & STPI
Involved in documenting monthly and annual returns and follow up with the consultants for certifications. Document DTA sales and related compliances.
Evaluate import documentation, bonding and de-bonding process. Manage reconciliation of bill of entry and shipping bill registers with books of accounts.
SAP
Focus on effective resolution of user queries on SAP processing errors. Conduct UAT for new processes and work environments before implementation.
Recommend changes in SAP design to align with the changes in direct and indirect tax laws.
