Job Description
Inviting application for Sr. Architectural Engineer & Sr. Structural Engineer for the leading US based BIM & MEP firm.
Summary:
- Title:(1) Sr. Architectural Engineer (2) Sr. Structural Engineer
- Work Location: Ahmedabad
- Experience: Min. 3 years
- Salary: No bar for the best candidate
- Qualification: Bachelor's in Architecture / Civil
- Must Have: Experience in USA projects
- Software Proficiency Required: Revit (Must have) and AutoCAD (Good to have)
- English communication required
Architectural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Designing, analyzing, and altering plans, prototypes, or structures.
- Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Assisting team members with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Establishing project goals.
- Identifying and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures.
- Ensuring building systems are functional, reliable, and safe.
- Participating in site visits.
- Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements.
- Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents.
- Consulting with clients on building projects.
Desired Skills for Architectural Engineer:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architectural / Civil Engineering.
- Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
- The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
- Good team working and communication skills.
- Good time management skills.
- An excellent working knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
- Make calculations about pressures, loads, and stresses.
- Consider the strength of construction materials and select appropriately.
- Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
- Obtain planning and/or building regulations approval.
- Analyze configurations of the basic components of a structure.
- Liaise with professional staff such as architects and engineers.
- Monitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness.
- Administer contracts and manage projects.
- Inspect properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations.
- Use computer-aided design technology for simulation purposes.
Desired Skills for Structural Engineer:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (essential).
- Min. 3 years of work experience as a Structural Engineer
- Expert experience in project management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Sound understanding of physics and mathematics.
- Ability to liaise with professionals from other disciplines.
- Three-dimensional conceptual skills.
- Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
