Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enhance and improve Solumina, iBASEts flagship product that makes complex manufacturing simple.
- Collaborate with team members in Sprint Planning, Scrum Meetings, Code Reviews, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Design and develop well-engineered code with Java, advance Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven.
- Must have hands on experience in medium/large scale database application. Oracle and SQL Server are preferred.
- Develop automated unit tests using JUnit, Mockito.
Job Description:
- Must have experience in developing multi - tier enterprise systems with Java, advance Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, JUnit, Mockito.
- Good Knowledge of components such as Git, Jenkins, Clover. Knowledge of developing scripts in Pert & Unix shell is a plus.
- Experience as a software developer/Application designer or programmer.
- Experience of modern Java programming best practices for object-orientation, dependency injection, thread concurrency, performance tuning, and as well as test-driven development for unit and integration testing.
- Must have knowledge of database function, Tigger and Store procedure.
- Ability to write complex SQL queries and efficiently retrieve data from a database, specially oracle and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with Web infrastructure such as Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere.
- Experience with open source JMS implementation such as Apache ActiveMQ and open source Enterprise Bus Service Application such as Apache Camel, JBoss Fuse, Mule is a plus.
- Experience and understanding of source code management tools such as GIT and SVN.
- Agility in data scrubbing in large datasets.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Can clearly communicate key points with a variety of audiences both technical and non-technical including executive staff, sales personnel, partner organizations, end customers, product management, development engineering and quality assurance.
- Ability to analyze requirements and user stories thoroughly, ask good, clarifying questions, craft well-engineered solutions, and deliver in a timely manner.
- Passion for adopting software development best practices and crafting quality code.
- Ability to learn a large, complex code base and be a productive team member.
- Ability to work collaboratively on an Agile team with shared goals.
- Drive for continuous improvement and skills development.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Education:
- Bachelor's or higher-level degree in Computer / IT is necessary with minimum good academics background.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience developing software in an Agile Scrum environment. Scrum Master certification or experience a bonus.
- Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) principles, practices, frameworks, and tools.
- Experience with JavaScript and web technologies. Experience with Git.
- Good Knowledge of components such as Git, Jenkins, Clover, Knowledge of developing scripts in Pert & Unix shell is a plus.
- Experience with distributed software teams.
- Ability to analyze and profile system performance and then design and implement substantial performance improvements.
