Job Description
Plans and controls projects containing multiple sub-projects and/or 3rd party activities with external dependencies.
Re-plans/baselines to maintain expected outcomes, while managing scope and milestone changes.
Provides accruals and tracking of cost of work done, with evidence of corrective actions taken to minimize adverse variances to budget.
Manages risks, issues and assumptions associated with projectsManage all aspects of the project implementations including project rollouts, resource tracking, budget management, schedule development, cost/ budget analysis, cross discipline coordination and communications
Issue regular project status and manage communication with internal stakeholder and client representatives.
Manage project team and resource allocation Deep understanding of project management methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrum)Preferred Qualifications:
BE/MCA/MBAOverall 8 yearsexperience with Minimum 3 yearsexperience in a Project manager role
Strong knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Strong knowledge in Agile based projectsShould have run projects in Java, .NET technology stack with exposure to newer technologies like cloud
Experience with project management software such as Microsoft ProjectKey Competencies:
Strong verbal and written communication skills Good background in BFSI vertical. Tax Domain Preferred Strong experience in Metrics based project executionsFlexible and creative problem-solving skills
Extremely strong interpersonal skills
Personnel management skills, including previous direct reports Proven ability to manage time across multiple, simultaneous projects Demonstrated experience in risk assessment and management Demonstrated leadership, communication and team building skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross functional teams Ability to work with team members in different locations Ability to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to facilitate client discussions across a wide variety of program issues and considerations, along with general industry topics
Flexibility - Need to be flexible with respect to working times (12pm to 9pm IST), provide overlap with US (Central Time) on an ongoing basis
