Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Compliance:
a. Ensures themselves and colleagues abide by OHS regulations for their work site.
b. Demonstrates OHS practices including OHS reporting.
c. Proactively approach OHS with positive lead indicators.
d. Participates & engages in all elements of the Aristocrat Due Diligence framework
e. Zero Compliance breaches.
Personal Skills:
f. Comprehension of ITIL methodology.
g. Must be customer service oriented and have good verbal communication skills, be able to work independently and be team oriented.
h. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
i. Should be comfortable in working in Shifts.

Minimum Requirement
Provides advanced technical support and administration of the core infrastructure systems including but not limited to Linux (Red Hat, OpenSuse, CentOS, Debian & Ubuntu) and Unix (Oracle Solaris 10/11).
Works closely with theIT Operations Manager, Senior Systems Engineers and Regional Service Delivery Manager to ensure exceptional customer service for all support needs.Resolves issues in a timely manner and enters resolution into the Service Centre tracking system as needed.
Administration of the Linux and Unix system to ensure the deployment of applications, patches and building of Kernels. Moreover, ensuring that the patches are up to date.
Provide disaster recovery protection to critical data by ensuring backup program is properly configured, administered and maintained.
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
6+ years of equivalent Systems Engineer experience.
RHCE certification.
Scripting and Automation.
Experience with Linux (CentOS, Oracle Linux, Oracle Solaris).
Storage Management ( LVM, Multipath)
Performance Tuning Skills.
