Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Daily Administration on Unix/LINUX servers in Cloud Infrastructure
Exposure to Could Technologies will be an added advantage.
Remote administration using consoles like SP, SC etc.
Remote administration of servers in large scale Data Centers.
Maintenance of Hardware and Operating System - activities like kernel upgrades, OS upgrades, hardware maintenance, virtualization, etc.
Sound Knowledge on RedHat Linux AS/Oracle Enterprise Linux.
Experience in virtual infrastructure management tools like Oracle VM
Writing shell/Perl scripts for day to day system administration task
Good to have Knowledge on SAN or NAS Storage technologies.
Good to have Knowledge/Hands on experience in managing Storage products like Netapp / ZFS or EMC
Certifications like OEL, RHCE, SCSA will be added advantage.
Knowledge of ITIL or other Incident Management processes preferred.
Knowledge of Oracle database will be added advantage.
Knowledge on Puppet/ Collective's would be an advantage.
Knowledge on Ansible/Python would be an advantage.
Enterprise Level Experience in Production Environment (24X7support will be a plus)
Able to drive project and guide team members
Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and able to work in a team and independently
Would be required to work on weekends.
Should be flexible to work in 24x7 (rotation shifts).
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
