The person should be able to take care of overall solution architecture and should have knowledge on both server side and client side technologies.
Along with the above, the person should take care of managing the team.
It boils down to the same points which I have mentioned in below email. So, while searching for profiles, you can check for Engineering Manager , Sr. Technical Manager , Solution architect (with managerial experience etc).
Required:
1.Should be working as Engineering Manager or equivalent and have at least 10 years of experience in IT industry. Should have served in that role for a minimum of 3 years.
2.Should be a hands-on technical person with managerial background and handled the teams with more than 25 members
3.Should have followed scrum methodology for a minimum of two projects/products.
4.Should have architected atleast 4 projects/products
5.Experience in atleast two technologies among iOS native apps, Android native apps, web site/API development using .NET/MVC is a must.
6.Should have very good communication skills and should be very good in mentoring the team members.
7.Experience in creating technical designs and specifications for projects.
8.Deep knowledge of Data Structures and Design Patterns.
9.Experience in implementing MVC / MVVM in context of App development.
10.Experience in working with XML and JSON.
11.Good knowledge of build and deployment processes of apps.
12.Extensive experience in working with services and RESTful APIs for mobile application development.
13.Experience in integrating Analytics and Social Media for Apps.
14.Knowledge and experience in implementing effective engineering practices to achieve high standards of quality.
Desirable:Experience in Android NDK or SWIFT language is a plus.
