Desired Candidate Profile
Lasso & Marquee, a partly Dutch owned company Bright-River, is currently specialized in the editing of large quantities of professional product images and has its office in Aminjikarai, Chennai (India).
Bright-River is in the middle of a Digital Transformation. We are doing two things to facilitate this transformation: 1) move our environments from being built by 3rd parties to building, owning and running it ourselves, and 2) moving from doing simple image editing work to automated image processing including 3D and visual content optimisation.
What is your Mission?
You'll work as part of a talented team of developers who understand Bright-River systems and deliver the technical implementations based on our functional requirements and solution based architecture. A few of the task youd either own or contribute towards:
Using your outstanding programming skills (ahum of course) you contribute to the development of our in-house applications. The applications are used daily by your Bright River colleagues and our customers.
You prefer data driven decisions over gut feelings and assumptions. This shows in you analytical skill set
You work together in a team of developers and engineers together with a Product Owner on a day to day basis. Together your will deliver product according to business and technical requirements.
You feel the ownership of the code you develop. You will build, own and run the applications with your team.
DevOps mindset: Applying your DevOps skills to find the right balance between delivery speed and quality. Our aim is to automate everything and deliver on a continuous basis with a high level of quality.
Ability to communicate with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds in different offices around the world.
You will be doing some out of hours shift work as part of a team rotation.
Requirements
How to stand out from the rest?
You've studied Engineering or BSc. education in Computer Sciences, MSc. education
5 years experience as a Developer .Net C#, Net C#, SQL, ASP.NET, XML, JSON, REST
Knowledge of React, Redux or Typescript is very appreciated
Knowledge of and/or interest in Adobe Creative Cloud and Salesforce is real plus
Experience with remote teams and colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux
Experience in Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS or GCP will set you apart
Any knowledge and skills you bring around security will a huge bonus
Fluent in English
