Engineer II, Software Quality - Hyderabad @ Becton Dickinson India

• Active participation in the testing cycle of the software development lifecycle, starting from requirements gathering, prototyping, design review, test case reviews using Agile - Scrum Methodology.
• Working closely with Product Management, Program Manager, Development Team, and Support teams to create and deliver a quality-focused QA deliverable.
• Develop execute functional, integration, and E2E test cases to validate the business, system, and operational requirements.
• Work closely with different functional groups to resolve issues, ensure thorough testing from a business perspective, understand support issues, and release high-quality products to customers.

Required Skill Set

• Interprets product design and requirements for the engineering test approach and generates test plans, test scenarios, and test cases/scripts.
• Executes all kinds of test cases/scripts and interprets/analyzes results to report, communicate, and work through issues with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in writing quality bug reports.
• Experience in database testing using MSSQL Server.
• Experience in embedded systems performance testing.
• Strong Troubleshooting skills for reaching to the root cause of customer reported issues.
• Hands-on experience using Test Management tools - Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Microsoft Test Manager (MTM).
• Hands-On Experience using industry-standard automation Tools- Selenium/Silk Test/QTP and have used C# as scripting language will be given preference.
• Hands-On experience in API Testing using SoapUI/Robot Framework will be given preference.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pluses

• Experience in automated testing of the healthcare software system.
• Troubleshooting and recovery of MS SQL
• Experience using Team Foundation Server and Microsoft Team Manager for Test Management
• Experience in Security Testing.
