Associate Lead Software Engineer @ Cerner

Job Description

Cerner is excited to hire an Associate Lead Software Engineer. As an Associate Lead Software Engineer you will analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify software enhancements or new software and provide high-level architecture guidance and create strategic technical designs for projects of scope within. Your responsibilities include managing escalation and issue resolution for internal or external clients and stakeholders. In this role you will provide inputs to project resourcing plans, advocate for an efficient development environment, set expectations and drive continuous improvement and high-quality code.

Additionally, you will consult with the stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding new features to develop software specifications, translate business problems into functional work estimates at the component level for current and future projects.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology, Masters degree in Computer Applications, or related field
At least 8 years of experience in Software Development
At least 7 years of experience in C#.Net with windows
At least 3 years of experience in design patterns Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years experience in healthcare- IT background
Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies
