Urgent requirement for Civil Design Engineer & Infrastructure Specialist for Industrial Services for On Contract-Tamil Nadu Location
Minimum Experience of 10 years in Construction Projects
Experience & Education Qualification:
- M.E./ M. Teach - Structural Engineering
- B.E./ B. Tech Structural Engineering
Job Responsibility:
Civil Design Engineer:
- Review and ensure structural safety of structures.
- Provide structural design and drawings.
- Prepare design basis as required
- Review soil investigation reports and safe bearing capacity calculations.
- All structural components bird watch tower, bus shelter, Advertisement & sign boards etc.
- Provide necessary technical specifications for carrying out the structural works.
- Undertake field visits to assess the Structural requirements as necessary.
- To review sluice gate designs and execute as GFC.
- Monitor sluice gate construction.
- Monitor Docks construction.
Infrastructure Specialist:
- Conduct technical evaluation, design review and recommend proposed physical and logical designs prepared by Design Build / EPC Contractor (with civil design and engineering aspects for lake components such as bund, Surplus weir, sluice gates) with an understanding of lake as a system.
- Support with technical competence and have knowledge of relevant issues with respect to the water management components designed.
- Supervision and Monitoring during the construction of lake hydraulic structures and drains and ensure that all the specifications fall underneath the correct codes.
- Ensuring the Quality of work carried out by the EPC contractor on the hydraulic structures.
- Evaluate and recommend necessary changes in performance tuning, infrastructure design and monitoring.
- Solving problems onsite during planning and execution
- Conduct extreme complex technical evaluation and suggest proposed physical structures along with detailed designs.
- Analyze problems, evaluate technical issues, modify, integrate and monitor.
- Guiding and Mentoring Project Manager and team members on the infrastructure Perspective.
- Understanding the construction sequencing and suggesting the same to the contractor.
- Suggests new or improved civil engineering techniques or procedures to create new or refined improvements, equipment, materials, processes or methods to contractor for execution of works
- To check structural stability of all elements involved in the lakes
- Electrical layout to be checked and execute as per site condition
Job Location: Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu
Eligibility Criteria:
a) Post Graduate Engineering with min 10 Years professional experience
b) Local candidates are preferable
