Urgent requirement for Team Leader & Construction Manager for Industrial Services for On Contract-Tamil Nadu Location
Location
Minimum Experience of 10 years in Construction Projects
Experience & Education Qualification:
- M.E./ M. Teach - Civil Engineering
- B.E./ B. Tech Civil Engineering
Job Responsibility:
Team Leader:
- Overall supervision of all design and construction activities as described in the Scope of Work and managing the activities of the Team members.
- Prepare work plan in project management software and review work progress periodically, and compliance to safety requirements, quality requirements, contractual requirements, and timely implementation of the works within the allotted budget.
- Reviewing, preparing and advising as appropriate the works related to procurement documents, assessed contractual issues; organize and co-ordinate Survey and Field Investigations and ensure smooth implementation
- Reviewing all Engineering designs, including their appropriateness in terms of prevailing practices
- Review the structural, technical, and non-technical reports including all designs, and drawings in civil/ mechanical/ electrical components submitted by the Contractor.
- Provide advice on critical contract related issues and claims, arising during contract implementation.
- Ensure overall compliance of all contract agreement in letter and spirit by observing strict vigilance to avoid any possibility of time and budget overrun. In the event of any such possibility he shall issue Vigilance Note on the Time/Budget overrun/ Quality discrepancy in line with the Contract Agreement to the Employer for further taking necessary action.
- Responsible for monitoring and following up on Contractor activities/steps taken in all of the statutory compliance viz
Construction Manager:
- Review contractors construction management plan and undertake field visits to assess their implementation.
- Identify and address critical areas/issues that could delay/hinder the construction progress.
- Reviewing the mobilization of the contractors resources (personnel, equipment, machines, materials, funds, etc.) and recommending additional resources to be mobilized to complete the works according to the implementation schedules and to the required specifications;
- Assisting with preparation of interim payment certificates;
- Supervision of Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Works related to the project.
- Supervising and monitoring of the contractors; and
- Having regular meetings with the Contractor, and the TSCL to operationalize all recommendations in an efficient and effective manner.
- Check and certify the quality of electrical items, horticultural items, irrigation items and structural components.

a) Post Graduate Engineering with min 10 Years professional experience
