Desired Candidate Profile
Description
Candidate will have an advanced degree in computer science
or related field, experience developing cloud- native solutions, knowledge of
cloud platforms (AWS, Oracle Cloud, containers, including one or more
certifications, esp. AWS), a disciplined intellect, strong software design
sense (efficiency, security, elegance, simplicity), very strong coding skills
in Java/ J2EE, and a willingness to be constantly learning and improving.
Expertise with Weblogic, Tomcat, Spring framework, Hibernate, and REST API
development is a must. Knowledge of agile methods and tools (github, Jenkins,
Sonar, Artifactory, Jira or Version One) and Understanding of Linux, JVM
internals, performance tuning, DevOps experience is a big plus.
Will have 6- 8 years or more related work experience, proven
ability to deliver reliable, cloud native engineering solutions and
automations, a proven track record of delivering high quality software.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science,
Information Technology
5- 8 years of Information Technology
experience with Cloud certifications AWS Certified Solution Architect a
big plus
Strong
Technical experience in Core Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, JSP
Servlets, Java Script, and JQuery
Strong development skills with a track
record of delivering sound cloud technology solutions on Amazon Web
Services (AWS), Ansible, Chef, Cloudfoundry, Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes
etc.
Expertise in implementing secure access
strategies and solutions, leveraging IAM solutions, SSO and Federation
Advanced design skills and support
solutions in a cloud computing and virtualized computing environment and
understands hybrid cloud architectures.
Knowledge of Agile approaches to
software development and able to put key Agile principles into practice to
deliver solutions incrementally.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and
written communication skills with strong ability to influence both IT and
business partners
Analytical thinking and problem solving
skills with an ability to negotiate and trade- off technology options
against goals and cost
Ability to prioritize and manage work to
critical project timelines in a fast- paced environment
An understanding of project management
principles and Agile methodology
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Computers
PG: Post Graduation Not Required
