Job Summary:

Incedo is looking for a Java Lead with skills to maintain and enhance a graphical library of components used to accelerate the creation of Java GUI applications. These components library allows Java developers to quickly create mission critical graphical applications to display information through tables, Gantt charts, maps, charts and other user interface components. We are looking for an engineer that can take ownership of the existing code base, improve the build and testing process, fix bugs and enhance the functionality of the software.

Required Tech Stack -:

• MVC: JSF feature - Small Fraction of product is using JSF.
• Desktop app developer :- must have knowledge of Java, AWT, and Swing, 2D Graphics
• DB : PostgreSQL- only for demo
• Build Tool : Maven + ant (Some old client still using Ant)
• UT : Must know Junit -TDD is preferable
• OS : Linux and Windows machine
• CICD: TeamCity + Jenkins

Must Have -:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing Java applications
• Experience in 2D graphics, mapping and user interface development
• Experience with Apache Tomcat and other application servers
• Experience with Maven and Ant
• Experience using TeamCity or other CI system
• Experience in developing Java Swing and JSF user interface applications
• Experience with test-driven development
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Development experience building client/server networking applications
• Familiar with relational databases and SQL
• Experience with object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
• Experience learning and managing an existing code base in order to improve it and expand its capabilities
• Ability to work independently
• Nice to have
• Experience with scrum
