Job Description
Asstt. Manager (Direct Tax)
JMJ Group / Viiking Group, a dynamic conglomerate with asset base of above Rs. 2500 Crores aggressively expanding its footprints in Hospitality, Construction, Confectioneries, Aviation, Perfumes and Essential Oil requires Asstt. Manager (Direct Tax) for its Mumbai Office and having at least 5 years experience. Knowledge of GST would be an added advantage. This position will report to Senior Manager Taxation.
ATTRIBUTES
- Well versed with ever evolving landscape of taxation rules and regulations.
- Possess excellent analytical and communication skills (both written & verbal)
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally and MS Office is preferred.
TAXATION:
- Tax Computation: Be responsible for computing direct (Income and Wealth Tax) - for the Company and its Directors/key shareholders
- Filing Returns: Timely preparation and filing of all returns (TDS, TCS, Income Tax, SFT)
- Assessments: Drafting of explanation/ replies / submissions and Appeals, Coordinate with consultants and tax departments in resolving various tax assessment matters.
- Compliances: Be responsible for all forms of tax compliances
- Systems and Processes: Develop and implement systems and processes that ensure 100% compliances.
- Audit: Preparation of schedules and details for 3CD, 15CA, 15CB etc. Work closely with the internal and external auditors. Work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by the auditors.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
Graduate in Commerce with CA (Inter) and experience in Direct Tax of minimum 3 to 5 years in reputed company or Top CA Firm
