Follow Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes
To work on Agile projects in Sprint mode.
To use test management tools while managing test runs as per the defined test strategy
Create/execute test scripts/cases
Prepare and update testing documents
Provide support during User Acceptance Tests (UAT)
Implement functional / integration / regression testing
Deliver the test reports to the Team Lead / Project Managers regularly.
Implement technical solutions for the defects identified (where ever possible)
Analyse quality of service and suggest improvements
Manage the documents used by testing team using version control softwares
Use defect tracking system and follow resolution of defects
Customer centric approach.
Ability to identify problems and work to resolution as required.
Basic knowledge on Web Services, XML , SOAP UI
Basic knowledge on Linux
Basic knowledge on SQL/Oracle/Mongo DB
Basic knowledge on JIRA / Confluence processes
Good knowledge on Robot Framework, Selenium in order to write and automate the tests.
Basic knowledge on creation of flexible and modular automation framework
Knowlelege knowledge on GUI Automation
Basic Knowledge on Python.
Basic Knowledge on Appium Tool.
Basic knowledge on user journey and storyboards.
Good Reporting skills
Logs and error code analyzing knowledge (web technologies and java)
Domestic devices knowledge ( PC/Mac, Tablets, mobile phone, Game player)
Web browsers (Firefox, IE, Bing, Chrome)
Basic knowledge on Scripting (Groovy, Shell Scripting)
Basic knowledge on Application and Web servers ( for eg. Apache, Tomcat,Weblogic, etc.)
Working knowledge in writing test cases in various types (black box, smoke testing etc)
Efficiency and ability to follow processes
Good written and verbal communication skills, fluent English
