Senior Cloud Architect @ Appsian

The Senior Cloud Architect reports to the Director of Enterprise Architecture and works as part of a product team to design, implement, and oversee cloud platform delivery efforts. They work with the product and Enterprise Architecture teams to deliver a SaaS version of our product to customers. Architects work in a continuous improvement framework to implement new processes as well as to maximize and enhance the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the offering.

The Senior Cloud Architect will draw from a deep understanding of ELK platform management, microservice lifecycle processes, virtual infrastructure management, configuration management, DevOps, and security best practices to manage all infrastructure operations for product delivery. They will have a strong bias toward automation to standardize and simplify delivery and management of the offering. Architects draw from their experience in multiple layers of the solution stack and strong problem solving skills to understand platform requirements and be able to implement solid, deliverable solutions to challenges. They actively research improvements and efficiencies, plan and lead implementation of changes to improve the product delivery architecture.
