Job Description
The candidate should have a university degree of Masters Level or above.
Preference will be given to those with NGO and programmatic experience.
She will be reporting to the Co Directors.
What you will do:
1] Program Implementation of 3 programs
- Oversee the development of training and capacity building modules to strengthen agency of young women and youth and in some cases public and private participants
- Oversee the implementation of capability building programs, review video and print material,
- Oversee the organization and delivery of participatory workshops.
2] Impact management and measurement
- Review monthly reports and plans sent by field staff, numbers reached and trained and link this to the services provided.
- Implementation of the M&E framework; supervision of collection of baseline and periodic impact data using standardize surveys;
- oversee data collection, cleaning, storage and management; data analysis and visualization in Excel; presentation of key impact metrics
- Report writing for internal and external audiences: project reports; performance and impact reports; annual reports; reporting to investors and donors in designated format
3] Networking and Partnership development
- For funders, investors and corporate entities
- For local/grassroots partnerships in current and new geographies; negotiate roles and finalise MoUs; liaise with existing partners; develop and implement new collaborative projects; translate insights gained from partner meetings into recommendations and plans
4]Support fundraising
- drafting, reviewing and submitting applications or proposals for fundraising from foundations, DFIs, and other donors; preparing and presenting proposals to grant funders and donors; conducting preliminary calls and liaising with them throughout the engagement
5] Communications
- Support communications to raise the organizations profile among different circles and attract the attention of potential funders and collaborators: assist in production of monthly newsletters, blogs, contributions to publications, media and conferences
- Research, strategy development and overseeing the implementation of new programs for youth
6]. Your Accountabilities
- Enhancing the efficacy of all programs and expanding and deepening them further
- Streamlining all data collection and documentation for analysis and monitoring programs
- Building effective communications internally with all team members and externally with stakeholders, beneficiaries and public in general
- Assisting in raising funds for the organization
Ideal Experience and Attributes:
- At least 8-10years of experience of working in the area of program management on issues of gender and human rights in India with a proven ability to handle teams collaborate with stakeholders and build networks.
- The candidate should have excellent writing skills in English and oral fluency in Hindi and if possible Marathi.
Knowledge of information systems and social media.
Able to travel nationally.
Remuneration:
The salary range in this position is commensurate to industry standards and will be determined based upon the experiences and fixed as per the HR policies of the organization.
