Urgent Requirement || Cost Estimation Engineer || Shirwal -Pune

Education : B.E or Diploma in Mechanical or Production

Experience: 2 - 4 yrs for BE and 4 -6 yrs for Diploma

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimation support for vendor / Machined /Bought out items to facilitate procurement at most reasonable price.
• Provide cost estimation support for new machine model development.
• Provide cost estimation support for working out estimates for clients special requirements in machines.
• Collect , verify ,establish and maintain databank for standard time, Std machine hour rates and market MHR input material cost ,process to be followed ect. For manufacture of various components and assemblies.
• Prepare Special tooling (jig ,fixture etc)if required for manufactured items.
• Write process Sheets for manufacturing of components .
• Co-Ordinate with design department for change in designs for cost reduction and ease of machining.
• Close coordination with vendor dept. team members for cost negotiations, process improvement, new technology sharing in the market,
• Suggest special toolings, jigs fixtures, dies , moulds to facilitate the manufacturing processes to Vendor dept.
• Comply to Management Systems .
• Communication across all levels within the organization.
• Reports delays or issues if any to leader or higher authority.
• Proper data generation and keeping it at appropriate locations as per Data management system for the Dept.
