Loactions :- Hyderabad

Job Summary:
The Vendor Master Data Steward supports Novartis P2P department and the Procurement End User community through the timely creation and maintenance of Vendor Master records to support relationships with third party providers of goods and services. The position requires a self-driven, diligent, detail oriented and hard-working individual with knowledge and experience in Procurement and/or Finance and Data Management. This role focuses on data quality, speed of execution along with accuracy and completeness of Vendor profiles. Experience in handling large data sets is required.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to understand complex system relationships, retrieve and combine different data points, will be an excellent communicator and conduct data cleansing processes in the context of transitioning from the existing environment to target environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Establishes strong working relationships with in-country business, Procurement and FRA contacts and performs individual research to identify accurate and complete supplier data for all third party suppliers.
- Performs supplier data cleansing activities across multiple geographies.
- Contacts Suppliers to check the validity of the supplier records and enriches the existing Vendor Master Data with the information provided directly by suppliers or obtained through the external sources.
- Performs the configuration and activation of defined suppliers in Novartis finance and procurement systems with appropriate master data attributes in place.
- Interacts with SIM Support, SLP Implementation Team and Procurement Preferred Supplier Analysts.
- Supports the delivery of service levels against KPI targets and communicates results to senior leaders.
- Contributes to the development of the knowledge management process including the development of user manuals, knowledge bases, FAQs, results reporting, etc.
- Possesses a good knowledge of the system and master data environment and supports the data cleansing exercise through the provision of timely, accurate and complete Vendor Data Records
Desired Candidate Profile
- University degree business administration/finance/computer science.
- Language: English (written and spoken) 2nd language a plus.
- Experience in similar position in a Shared Service Center environment: 5+ years.
- Good technical competence in SAP, especially in P2P and Vendor Master Data Management (experience with Ariba S2P suite and specifically SLP is a plus).
- Demonstrable expertise in large scale data management roles.
- Strong communication skills and analytical competencies.
- Advanced data manipulation skills including integration of data from multiple external sources.
