Required Skills Partner with developers and system engineers to build and deployment solutions for a highly distributed, microservices based architecture. Manage Jenkins build and release pipelines from development through critical production deployments Monitor and maintain a distributed Jenkins build infrastructure Deliver scripts/tools that support and provide feedback for our CI/CD process Help developers implement a semantic versioning release strategy Design, develop, test, and deploy DevOps related code as part of a collaborative, agile team Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or an equivalent. Experience in cloud infrastructure designs like Route53, DirectConnect, Elastic Beanstalk, etc Python Scripting Implement CI pipelines (jenkinsfile), CD pipelines, deployment scripts (playbooks), container scripts (dockerfile), and other sample workflow automation. Able to explain clearly to Domain architects and App Teams how to use DevOps tools in the areas of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Virtual Machines (VMs)/Containers, Micro-services, and Test Automation. Establish best practices and anti-patterns in the areas of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Virtual Machines (VMs)/ Containers, Micro-services, and Test Automation. Experience with virtualization and hypervisors ( Openstack, KVM, Kubernetes, Docker, etc) Developing and maintaining infrastructure solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Lambda, and serverless deployments
