Our company is on the lookout for a mid-level solution Engineer with hands on H/W and Embedded areas of experience.

For this position we require a highly motivated Embedded Firmware Engineer for Embedded Linux based product to develop best in class solution. The role involves embedded firmware design, development, documentation and validation. The position requires working closely with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently, collaboratively and creatively to solve challenging design problem is paramount. The position involves working in dynamic and enthusiastic environment. Strong Embedded C/C++ knowledge and excellent debugging skills are critical to be successful in this role.
The ideal candidate would have:
A BS/BE degree in Electrical engineering or computer engineering with 6 -12 years of experience in embedded firmware development is preferred
Hands on experience in the design F/W Solutions of new Products
Experience in embedded C development, embedded communication protocols, IOT protocols
Experience in ARM based development with KEIL MDK environment
Expected to have knowledge in Linux kernel rebuild, adding Linux drivers, Debugging code level issues
Should understand Manufacturing environment and provide production testing firmware for quick and long test of H/W
Track record of Hands on experience working in R&D environment in development of Products.
Experience with Agile development methodology.
Must be self-motivated, creative, focused, accountable and have a strong follow-through to drive a project to completion
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, soldering iron, function generators, etc.
Must possess excellent, professional oral and written English communication skills to work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment
Must be Detail Oriented, Team Player and willing to learn new technologies with minimal guidance
Primary duties can include but is not limited to
Work with the hardware team to define requirements for microcontrollers and other hardware peripherals for new products.
Maintenance and continuous improvements of existing products.
First board bring up of prototype from factory
Work with Contract Manufacturers and Joint Development Manufacturers
Participate in schematic reviews to optimize hardware and firmware integration.
Support production and end of line test/provisioning in the factory
Work with Quality Assurance and Customer service to identify and resolve field issue
Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger development team
