IT Support (Online Support Service Provider) @ Plan International

Job Description

The position is responsible for providing the required ICT support to the Project Team and Project Office to ensure that the ICT infrastructure installed in the legal support service unit is effectively helpful to the project Sarthak team. The role will also be focused on to explore the functionality of online reporting systems related to Gender Based Violence (GBV) and other resources available online. The person will also be responsible for running the online media campaign, as required by the project team and support in all the IT related aspects of the project

Roles and Responsibilities

1. ICT PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION:

• To identify and share IT solutions to meet the business needs of the project Sarthak.
• To implement ICT infrastructure in compliance with Plan Corporate standards and guidelines.
• Awareness about the social platform and ability to navigate around them. Good online surfing ability as well as, IT skills related to mobile platform application.
• To identify and deploy the patches for Trend Micro (TM) Antivirus, Lumension Endpoint
• Management and Security Suite (LEMSS), Scansafe and other software to all the staff of the project.
• To control the internet access through appropriate filters.

To ensure implementation of Plans information security policy and disruption recovery plans of the project.

ONLINE OPERATIONS:

• To ensure that online operations of FIR registration, compliance maintenance, court record, application filing, judgements etc. are timely ensured and supported to the project staff.
• Good command of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access. Knowledge of MS Publisher is also desirable.
• Running the online campaign in collaboration with the project team.
• Maintaining the case documentation of files in a prescribed format, as suggested by the project team and to provide a technical solution for doing so.

Typing in Marathi and Hindi is desirable. English typing with a speed of 35 WPM.

3.

Safeguarding and protection

• Understand and strictly uphold the Plan India Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy to protect children and young people and prevent them from harm
• Provide comprehensive briefing and support to any and all stakeholders connected with children by way of Programme Communications activities or initiatives

4.

Administrative support

• Provide coordination and administrative support within the team as and when required
• Perform other duties as required by the line Officer

Desired Candidate Profile

• B. Tech (CSE/ IT)/ Graduate (IT)
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
