Job Description

Good knowledge of control cabinet design and selection of electrical components for control cabinet design.

Good knowledge of codes and standards relevant to electrical engineering such as IEC, LVD, EMC etc.

Aware of standard API17F and good engineering practices followed in oil and gas industry

Basic knowledge of PLC controllers and SCADA

Basic knowledge of networking

Basic knowledge of inspection and testing of electrical control panels

Ability to communicate ideas and concepts, explaining detailed technical information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important.

Ability to work independently or as part of the team

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Execute the assigned Electrical Hardware scope including understanding client requirements for developing hardware using standard products

Develop GA drawings, Wiring drawings, Manuals and Procedures for various Cabinets and Electrical hardware Products
Raise, clarify and evaluate internal and external interfaces related to assigned Electrical Create Materials and BOM in SAP Selection of components required in cabinet design Provide inputs to designers for various cabinet drawings Implement department guidelines, adhere to applicable standards Prepare FAT/E-FAT test procedures
