Job Description:
Looking for a Senior Python Developer with Machine Learning skills who has a background in Development and Data Science. The ideal candidate must be an expert Python programmer to extract data from large datasets of emails and tag them and label them as per the business requirements. In this role, you will use AWS Lambda Serverless Functions, AWS Comprehend (NLP), AWS Texteract (OCR), and Deep Learning models. The current development for the backend data processing and data modeling is all done using Python on the AWS infrastructure.
You will create predictive models to predict various labels and tags to classify emails. Split the initial classifier scripts into modular functions supporting the microservices architecture and messaging queues.
Qualifications:
- Must be an expert programmer with strong coding skills specifically, expert-level Python with a minimum of 8 years experience.
- Must have a good blend of Data Science and Development background, favoring expertise in Development.
- Must have AWS Technical background AWS Lambda, AWS Comprehend, SQS (message queueing), AWS Textract, etc
- Experience with Python data science packages like PyMongo, Pandas, NumPy, and/or SciPy
- Must have very strong logic writing, developing algorithms and data structures problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux Environments.
- Knowledge of backend databases like MongoDB, Postgre
- Must-have GIT experience
- Must-have Machine Learning experience
- CS degree highly preferred, or lots of programming in their background if they have more of an Engineer degree
- Great knowledge of Statistics, and Machine Learning models (Regression, Classification, Clustering)
