Job Description
This role will manage all implementations of systems and/or system integrations and oversee maintenance process and installation of upgrades to ensure system functionality.
What will you do? (Duties and responsibilities)
- Work with Finance business process owners and relevant Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements to technology solutions related to Billing, Revenue and Payment Applications.
- Partners with relevant Finance Process Owners to prioritize and implement enhancements.
- Responsible for implementing new technologies and systems
- Collect requirements for building and supporting business applications
- Plan and Perform various test cycles like integration testing, and system testing
- Provide Production support for month end close activities such as verifying the exception reports for period closure, ensuring all the GST, softex etc reports are running properly, no data discrepancy in the data.
- Performance tuning of the reports if they are taking long time
- Automation of the system or process as and when the need arises for smoother business needs
- Ensuring proper programs are available for loading the budget.
- Preparing Test Cases, Test Data & testing.
- Creation of process documents & its updating if required
- Cloning the Production, DR or UAT system. Also require to perform and ensure DR drill is successful.
- Ensuring all adhoc MIS reports are available to end user.
- Ensuring SSIS, Jobs on SQL are properly loading
- Responsible for database activities, such as cloning, patching, tablespace addition, cleaning and killing sessions
- Ensuring Oracle and SQL databases are properly backed up and backup is available in case if the need arises
What do you need to know?
- Should have exposure of development and maintenance of Oracle Applications with development tools like Forms, Reports, SQL - PL/SQL, Workflow
- Complete Understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite Architecture and underlying table structures and their usage to design efficient program units
- Should have experience in performance tuning
- Should have experience in Oracle R12 interface and APIs
- RDBMS Oracle / MSSQL (SQL, PLSQL)
- Should know XML Publisher
- Should have a good communication skills
- OAF (Added Advantage)
- SQL 2008 / 2016 SSIS, SSRS
- Should have experience in Oracle R12 Financial modules like Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Asset & Procurement modules
- Should have experience in managing concurrent processes, form personalization, form customization
- Should have experience in Oracle Apps DBA activities
- Manage one/two members team
- Good to have experience in Netsuite
- Support by creating reports in SQL for interfaces, reporting , etc
- Experience in Oracle Apps R12, Oracle Database 11g, Oracle Database 11g
- Airline domain background and functional knowledge (accounting) preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor degree
