Job Description
JOB: Frontend DeveloperExperience required: 2 to 3 years
Responsibilities:
We are hiring for Frontend Developer, whose day-to-day responsibilities will include:
1. Write standardscompliant frontend code for web applications, and mobile solutions using HTML, CSS, Jquery and JavaScript
2. Test the frontend code for supported browsers and devices
3. Collaborate effectively with team members: UX, designers, and developers to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the design solution
4. Work closely with members of the development and QA team to ensure the frontend code can be effectively integrated with the technical solution in an Agile Software Development environment
5. Establish and document development standards and common components for usage across all applications, and
6. Support various range of web browsers and devices.
Skills:
1. Strong HTML5, CSS3, AJAX and Javascript knowledge
2. Strong in Jquery, Bootstrap and ExtJS library knowledge
3. Strong experience with charting libraries (AmCharts, D3, Highcharts etc)
4. Strong portfolio of work showing experience developing standardscompliant frontend code for web and mobile web
5. Experience resolving Cross Browser Compatibility issues
6. Good knowledge of JSON, XML and XML Schema
7. Experience with GIT tools Optional Skill Set
8. Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment
9. Experience with Windows and Linux based environments
10. Experience with bootstrap and PhoneGap would be a plus
11. Understanding of JAVA and REST APIs would be a plus Education
12. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team spread over different time zones
