This is a dual role where cyber security skills would be utilized to develop a security product and there is an opportunity to work with the development team and provide them the guidelines related to cyber security and conduct required enhancements. This role is more on Product owner career track/path .

Brief Job Summary:
The Product Owner role offers an opportunity to utilize your cybersecurity domain knowledge, to bridge requirements of the MSSP customer to the our development team. This will include a lot of research on understanding various Cybersecurity tools and their usage to meet the requirement of MSSP, and explain these with help of Agile based User Stories to Development team.
Job Description:
At least 3+ years experience in Cyber Security/Information Security domain which includes:
o Cyber threat intelligence, secure network architecture, cryptology, incidence response, information assurance, cyber laws, cyber-attack vectors
o Hands-on experience with a broad range of security platforms; IPS, SIEM products, etc
o Familiarity with roles and security functions of large organizations, specifically Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and how automation, orchestration, and artificial intelligence can be leveraged to streamline and automate operational tasks and workflows.
o Hands on experience in analyzing security controls, VAPT, Security maturity assessment
Relevant certification viz. Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA Security+, CISM etc
Experience working in Agile Scrum Methodology. Using JIRA, creating features, user stories
Product Owner will be representing the customer and its requirements to the development team
Role responsibilities:-
Product Owner Responsibilities include:
Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs.
Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team.
Prioritizes defect or bug resolution.
Changing the order of items in the product backlog.
Being available to the development team at all times to answer any questions team members have regarding the customers needs and the customers views of how the team is implementing a product feature.
Ensures user stories are ready for development to start work.
Ensures each story has the correct acceptance criteria.
Gathers, manages, and prioritizes the product backlog.
Ensures close collaboration with the development team.
Works closely with engineering and quality assurance to ensure the right customer problem is solved. This can involve sharing market research and competitive analysis with the team to best focus their efforts.
Tracks progress towards the release of a product.
