Software Development Engineer - Python Scala @ McAfee

Role Overview:

McAfee is hiring for you who has excellent command over python , scala , UI Technologies, Multi-threaded programming and has user experience understanding the feature and implementation, solve complex technical challenges and have a positive impact on driving the XDR Engineering efforts.

About the role :

• Develop architectures for data lakes, data pipeline and large-scale data/event processing systems.
• You will work on to enhance existing features
• You will work with product, project, and engineering teams to deliver products on schedule that solve our customers problems.
• You will work on data processing patterns, distributed computing and in building applications for real-time and batch analytics.
• You will get to work on NoSQL Databases such HBase,Cassandra, Redis and using Spark streaming for real-time stream processing of data into the cluster.
• You will report to the engineering manager.

About you :

• 7-12 years of experience in Scala, Python, elastic search, kafka.
• Experience in python, Scala, Spark Streaming, Pyspark -Experience in Kafka, Hbase, Cassandra, MongoDB res and optimize existing functionality, from conception to design & development through testing & deployment.
• Have experience create designs and oversees solutions understanding the our requirements and map them to technical design, code, and and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements,
• Coding experience in either one of these Java, Scala, Python.
• Expertise in building Data Lake, Data Pipeline and elastic search.
• Hands-on Processing using Kafka or any event Streaming engine.
• Experience with data processing patterns, distributed computing and in building applications for real-time and batch analytics.
• Good knowledge on NoSQL Databases such HBase,Cassandra, Redis and using Spark streaming for real-time stream processing of data into the cluster.
• Exposure in HTTP, SQL queries, Database fundamentals and internals.
• Hands-on in creating new features from scratch,
• Hands-on in understanding of distributed systems like Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka.
