Desired Candidate Profile

Assess the recovery risk of current and future application architectures. Assess impact that emerging technologies (e.g. , hybrid cloud , block chain , robotics , API / Mircoservices , Digital) and the IT and Business Strategies has on the applications from both a recovery and testing perspective. Perform targeted reviews of Franchise Critical based on CBCM criteria.

Complete assessments and document results. Track any identified gaps as well as ongoing monitoring and reporting of correction actions. Validate that corrective action taken adequately addresses the recoverability concerns identified.

This includes , but is not limited to the following areas of assessment:

Resiliency levels for all application components

Primary site production failover capability

Alternate site CoB failover capability

(including gaps between the Prod and CoB environments)

Key dependencies (critical services , internal , external , etc.)

System architecture diagrams

Attend assigned architecture forums and project updates. This includes partnering with the specifi,application development teams , Sector Architecture Teams , Citi s Technology Infrastructure (CTI) and Citi s Enterprise Architecture & Technology Engineering (CATE) to assess , monitor and mitigate potential recovery risks based on changes and new technologies being introduced

Create , enhance and maintain assessment criteria and departmental procedures as assigned

Monitor identified server configuration and potential capacity issues (e.g. , Mainframe , Distributed , Cloud , Hybrid platforms)

Escalate within the application development and sector levels as well as ongoing monitoring of any gaps identified to conclusion and necessary escalations
