Job Description

Role and Responsibilities

Managing and Driving the Agile Process
Run daily, weekly and monthly agile rituals efficiently and strictly
Tracks work progress to identify blockages and developer divergence from allocated tasks
Communicate with main stakeholders
Monitor schedule and performance
Identify key KPIs
Prepare and present reports on the progress and success
Blocks Business, Operational Staff and Product owners from interference with Development Structure
Managing the Team
Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values.
Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks
Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
Facilitating getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work.
Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution
QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
EXPERIENCE: 6 - 10 years of experience playing the Scrum Master role for a software development team.
TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:

In depth knowledge of tools such as Jira to facilitate tasks and tests.
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
