Job Description
- Provide Quality administrative tasks as well as data analysis and information processing based on Quality and Continuous Improvement data.
- Analyze current business system situation and recommend improvements.
- Work with Lean Six Sigma and Quality Data Systems groups to ensure that necessary systems and tools are in place for accurate information reporting .
- Work with internal stakeholders to review and recommend options for quality processes and data reporting .
- Pull data from disparate information systems and perform entry level data analysis to help implement long term solutions.
- Develop entry level solutions to automate data gathering and information reporting processes to improve the speed and integrity of data.
JOB COMPLEXITY
- Works on Quality team administrative follow-up tasks and less complex quality processes that require simple IT solutions and scientific methods.
- Develops systems solutions to overall process issues utilizing an entry level information technology skillset and approach.
EXPERIENCE
- 0-3 years experience gathering, cleansing and preparing data for analysis (from various sources).
- Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt. Access or SQL database creation.
- Creating data visualizations. Product quality experience desired. Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL
- SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel skills, Access, SQL, other data analysis tools (Power BI), SAP experience, data extraction .
SCOPE
- Using data analysis tools / processes and problem solving techniques, develop data analysis and visualizations.
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders and team is essential.
INTERACTION
- Frequently interacts with peers and team members to drive more effective reporting results. Influences other areas of the organization in developing solutions.
