Job Description
- We are looking primarily for Sr. developer to join a globally distributed Development team following Agile Software Development and Release Methodology.
- Candidate will research, analyze, design, develop, test, deploy and implement software applications and systems using J2EE, Eclipse, Java and Web technologies.
- Candidate will work on developing Microservices using Spring Boot technology.
- Candidate will also use Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JDBC, JSP, Spring, Spring MVC, JPA, Servlets, JBoss, AJAX, Web Services etc. as well as various other software development tools, languages and technologies.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code. Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Web Component. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Candidate will be responsible for testing, coding, debugging, and resolving errors. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and ship new features. Candidate will be part of the development team and responsible for Unit testing and partner with tester.
- Candidate will also be responsible for supporting users and clients. Candidate will design and implement n-tier architecture using J2EE design patterns like Web Services, Service Locator, Data Access Object and Value Object pattern. Candidate will design and implement Portal Web tier with MVC architecture and JavaScript.
- Candidate will be involved in quality assurance activities like reviews, walkthroughs etc. Candidate will prepare and execute test cases for business Functionalities, Setup Services and other activities. He will
- write scripts to build the applications using ANT/Maven. Candidate will deploy J2EE applications to Jboss application server.
- Candidate will understand the development best practices followed within the organization and be responsible for establish, manage and improve software development life cycles using different methodologies like Agile with project management tools.
The Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of Software Development experience, which includes modern web frameworks like JSF, Spring, Spring MVC.
- Good knowledge on Microservice frameworks and REST based web services will be required.
- Good understanding of web 2.0, AJAX.
- Good understanding of HTML5 standards, Javascript libraries like jQuery, jquery UI, Web accessibility Section 508 compliance will be required.
- Experience of front-end development using Angular with Jasmine, Karma, webpack, nodejs etc. will be plus.
- Understanding of Oracle SQL and database design and Proficient understanding of Data Model.
- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product levels.
- Experience in Agile processes.
- Excellent research, analysis and implementation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and ability to clearly articulate technology solutions and design options to broad groups of people
