Senior Software Development Engineer in Test @ Cloud Assert

• Will own the quality of a feature, component, or a product. Will write, execute, and fix test cases, test scripts as per specifications and interact with Developers/Product Team to a report, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle ambiguity and work independently and in a team while still meeting deadlines.
• Complete hands on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactively gather all the requirements related to all test deliverable.
• Understanding the requirements in detail and should come up with extensive test scenarios and test cases to give a complete coverage of functionalities.
• Responsible for the utmost quality of the product by performing complete system testing and regression testing the critical business features.
• Able to work with developer tools to understand the errors occurring in the application. Out of box thinking to identify various defect occurring sequence and be able to unveil the maximum defects before being released to production environment.

Experience: 5 to 10 Years

• Deeper knowledge in manual testing concepts and test design techniques such as test plan design, test strategy design, test scenarios and test case design.
• Extensive knowledge in User Interface Testing, Functional Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Automation Testing, Security Testing, API testing and Performance Testing is essential.
• Possess strong knowledge in automation testing dot net applications and an expertise in C# is an added advantage. Prior experience working in Cloud based products.
• Expertise in test execution and identifying the shortcomings in the product based on the expected business flow.
• Good hold in documentation skills to document the features, their details, execution scenarios, defect descriptions and the release notes.
• Possess good communication skills to have a clear communication within the team and with the clients. Good knowledge in API testing and validation of the responses is essential.
• Experience in SQL queries and data validation is a must.
• Excellent mentoring skills to guide manage junior SDET.
