Test Automation Lead /Test Lead - 2
Responsibilities for Test Lead:
- Oversee end-to-end testing activities for all phases of testing and co-ordinating with different stakeholders involved
- Prepare, manage and walkthrough the functional test strategy with stakeholders and coordinate across various business streams, technology vendor and
- Lead large enterprise projects/program testing agenda, defining test strategies and aligning various delivery streams to the strategy encompassing transformational thinking (transforming to agile testing approach)
- Responsible for Test Deliverables including Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios/cases/results, Requirement Traceability Matrix, testing status report as per the frequency mentioned in Test Strategy, Final Test Report
- Ensure test scenarios/cases are prepared prior to test commencement and reviewed.
Responsibilities for Test Automation Lead:
- Design and architect test automation framework and strategies across the application landscape;
- Drive automation discussions with the project stakeholders and test teams to identify scope for automation and conduct ROI analysis;
- Estimate the automation book of work and plan for capacity;
- Drive automation testing across all workstreams to improve the efficiency of overall testing cycles;
- Create automation scripts for verification and ensure alignment with overall test management strategy;
- Automate test data provisioning by extracting and injecting test data;
- Manage and track SLAs/KPIs;
- Develop reusable and robust automation scripts;
- Has keen interest/experience in Waterfall, Agile and DevOps;
- Perform walk-through with testing teams to execute automation scripts and management minor modifications
Job Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-year experience in software testing with hands-on manual and automation testing experience; minimum 3-year experience in leading a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Able to work well both independently as well as in a team;
- Experience in full system development lifecycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment;
- Experience in performing root cause analysis and addressing test gaps;
- Domain experience in business finance and financial markets,
- Familiarity with SLDC and strong insights on various testing phases, agile project methodology, and ability to write multi-test strategies
- Good capability in designing/developing effective test cases based on requirements, and creating traceability between requirements and test procedures
- Execute regression tests, functional tests, and data tests. - test environment setup, defects tracking and coordinating with PO, users, and tech team to resolve the issues and determine defect priority.
- Estimates work requirements for contribution to the project sprint plan, report and track deliverables.
- Stays abreast of QA & Testing best practices and the latest available tools (HP Quality Centre and ALM), frameworks, and standards.
- Ensures high quality and accuracy are maintained through to software release.
- DevOps knowledge added advantage.
- Experience in SQL, Java scripting, and Java programming o Good to have experience in Big Data testing OR, Ready to learn and implement.
