Consultant- Technology Management Geographic information system (GIS).

Job Description

Primary Responsibilities

GIS

1. Identifying opportunities to develop GIS based applications, evaluating various options and choosing the right solution as per the criteria and priorities laid out by the stakeholders from time to time.

2. Understand the technical implementation details of the GIS based applications and ensure that the systems that have been developed and are proposed to be developed will serve the purpose meant for. GIS Analysis and Data modelling skills will be important to ensure appropriate level of evaluation of solutions.

3. Work on design and implementation of GIS solutions

In addition to above Primary Responsibilities the incumbent may be assigned any other task from time to time by State IT Secretary / Head of Nodal Agency / Head SeMT

Essential Criteria

Qualification: BE / B Tech / MCA in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related field

4 plus years of experience in IT Projects
Experience of at least 2 years in implementation of large IT / eGovernance projects.
