Job Description

Designation: Sr.Executive/Assistant Manager- Vendor Development- Packaging Material

Job Profile:

• Plan and manage company's overall sourcing strategy for packing materials like corrugated box,Carton Box,Bubble sheet, BOP tapes etc
• Do often research to understand company's operations needs and requirements
• Negotiate pricing and control costs
• Execute analyses and make suggestions for improvement of overall sourcing strategy
• Adhere with Company SOP for Vendor Development( like documentation, vendor visit etc)
• Keep abreast of industry and market trends and best practices
• Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Discover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliers
• Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
• Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
• Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
• Invent negotiation strategies and secure profitable deals
• Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
• Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies

Candidate Profile:

• Any Graduate, BE/Diploma in Printing/Packaging would be added advantage
• 5 to 10 years in vendor development in Packing materials or allied industry.
• Depth knowledge of packaging raw materials & process.
• Hands-on working knowledge in SAP would be added advantage
• Ethical working standards
• Male candidate preferred.
• Candidate nearby location is preferred.
• Early Joining preferred.
