Responsibilities:
Role Summary: In this role the person would be responsible for handling the Vendor Operations Support, build relation with suppliers/KAMs and secure timely in-stock as per the plan. This involves working extensively with internal FK stakeholders and outsourced Operations vendors to support multiple retail vendors/brands. The internal Flipkart stakeholders would include business finance, KAMs and Warehouse ops.
Job Description: Responsible for managing the vendor operations smoothly for all our Retail vendors/brands which would include handling of scenarios around scheduling of inventory, purchase order related queries, payment related issues, return of non-selling inventory, etc. Have a pulse of the challenges faced by the vendors and socialize the same with internal stakeholders to drive overall improvement in experience. Work closely with various internal teams (that would include Tech, Category, Business, Finance teams, etc) to understand business requirements, implement new processes and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Ownership of Day-to-day operations to ensure all performance and other deliverables are met by the partner as per the agreed SLA Facilitate weekly, monthly and quarterly review meetings with the partner teams Strong ability to understand data trends and make inferences and recommend actions for improvement Will be based out of assigned cities with occasional travel to partner location
Desired skills and experience: General understanding of online retail. Awareness of how commercials and supply chain work in the retail world will be an advantage. Graduate with strong Operations understanding, with a total of 3-6years of experience, with atleast 3-4 years experience in managing internal & external stakeholder management preferably in in e commerce/ Grocery retail, cash and carry Strong logical reasoning and problem solving skills Program management skills, people management, relationship management skills, conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams Strong analytical, multi-tasking skills, communication skills, with an eye for detail Proficient in MS applications e.g. MS Word / Excel / Power point Experience in managing outsourced partners (desirable)
