Job Description:

Experience : 3-8 Years

This position involves working in the evolution of Urjanet's pioneering big energy data platform that processes millions of requests each month and converts unstructured documents into structured data feeds. The platform uses a cloud based architecture and processes thousands of jobs and requests every day with high availability deployment. The development methodology is based on sound and proven processes like CI/CD, centralized configuration and common logging on elasticsearch This position involves adherence to development processes and tools based on Atlassian suite.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- Strong Java/J2EE knowledge on Linux environment with good exposure to data structures, development, debugging and unit testing code

- Strong desire to work on core Java based back-end engine

- Good exposure to Hibernate/JPA framework

- Showing high level of technical excellence that will drive new ideas and deliver outstanding (and well-tested) code

- Good knowledge on OOPS/OOAD and Design patterns

- Experience in writing the unit test case, integration test suite

- Experience in build scripts preferably gradle

- Experience in AWS cloud is an added advantage

- Good Communication skills

- Should have experience working in agile development methodology

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to brainstorm and suggest design solutions based on user/product requirements

- Ability to mentor, code review work done by the team

Roles and Responsibilities

-Design, develop, test and deployment of Java/J2EE code using Agile based processes

-Collaborate with stakeholders to make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to product/tools, and new features and functionality

-Manage work on tools/modules deliverables from concept to completion as per project timelines

-Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams within Chennai and US to complete deliverables on time
