They design, develop, manufacture & market professional & engineered products, software & services for a range of end markets.
Group companies are global suppliers of Sensing & Control Solutions. Broad portfolio of Liquid Level, Flow, & Pressure Sensors, Miniature Solenoid Valves, Proximity Switches & integrated Fluid Management Solutions. , Pressure, Acceleration, & Weight Sensing Devices.
They serve Global & most demanding applications in the Medical, Industrial, Marine , Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Semiconductors & Healthcare, Hospital Patients for infection prevention, HVAC & industrial applications.
Position Report: Product Management Leader
Purpose of Position
The product manager is the product owner & responsible to drive profitable growth of the product portfolio. The Product Manager will be the General Manager of the product, responsible for all aspects from market strategy development, competitive assessments to Multi-Generational product plan development & product lifecycle management, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Essential Functions
Develop & maintain a portfolio business plan
Perform market analysis, market sizing, competitive analysis, SWOT analysis, opportunity analysis & launch of new capabilities.
Develop customer segmentation, define key adopters & influencers & develop messaging appropriate for each
Define portfolio / solution strategy with sustainable differentiation for portfolio of products or assigned market segment or region; define the multi generational product roadmap & actively manage portfolio
Develop & communicate a vision of the future state of the business, define what a winning solution / team looks like, & build followership around your vision
Own the revenue growth & profitability for your portfolio or assigned market / regional segment.
Develop & execute your Go to Market plan that will engage the commercial organizations in helping you drive market success.
Develop & deliver field & sales training around solutions meeting the needs of the global regions, partner segments & customer base.
Engage customers to validate business case, support design in activity, define next generation solutions as needed
Accurately forecast the revenue, product mix, & profitability from your portfolio.
Set the list pricing & price escalation rules for your portfolio in line with your strategic business plan / go to market.
Set expectations for yourself & your team & employ Business System with visual management to ensure that you are tracking to your objectives.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or Economics
Prior experience of about 5 years in Product Management / Marketing
Strategy consulting experience a plus
Strong presentation & data analytics skills
Demonstrated success in NPI
Demonstrated ability to question status quo & drive change successfully
Time management & priority setting
Strategic thinker
Collaborative
Comfortable with Ambiguity
Physical Demands / Environment
Willing & able to travel by all forms of transportation.( Upto 40%)
