We are seeking a Level3 Support Engineer with extensive experience in troubleshooting software products, a broad understanding of technology, excellent communication, and teamwork skills. This candidate should have Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a good understanding of client/server applications architecture and mobile applications. The candidate should be able to resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues involving hardware like mobile devices, tablets, computers, and software like web browsers, web portals, and mobile applications.
Our Engineering team is a fast-paced group working in a competitive market. The Level3 Support Engineer will be responsible for leading post-mortem analyses to capture requirements, troubleshoot, root cause, resolve and work closely with Engineering and frontline Support team to bring the issue to closure.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's in computer science or related discipline and 5+ years of experience in doing technical support. The candidate should have the ability to gain knowledge on company products like Fleet management systems. Should be able to make use of available resources and troubleshooting tools to provide a prompt resolution to issues.
The candidate should be a very good team player and must be willing to work in an agile environment. Must possess a strong background in Linux/Unix administration and experience with using SQL. Must have experience following standards and processes using tools like JIRA issue tracking, and Confluence. The candidate should be able to make recommendations and proposals for improving existing processes, system enhancements, and customer experience. Candidates with knowledge of network and systems administration will be highly valued. Experience with supporting automotive or telematics applications and knowledge of API integration is a bonus. Knowledge of tools like Postman and other customized software applications is preferred.
Experience working with onsite teams, and domain knowledge in compliance products for the transportation industry is preferred. Must have experience interfacing with onsite clients.
